About the Founder
Santanu Sengupta is an Independent Board Director, Strategic Advisor and ICF-credentialed Executive Coach with more than three decades of global leadership experience across banking, strategy, growth, transformation, enterprise risk management and governance. He currently serves as an Independent Director on Boards and partners with founders, business owners, SMEs and CXOs on strategy, scaling, governance, leadership and organisational transformation.
Previously, as Managing Director and APAC South Head at Wells Fargo Bank, Singapore, Sengupta led large businesses and diverse teams across the region, delivering strong P&L outcomes while serving on the bank's APAC Executive and Risk Committees. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Crédit Agricole CIB, HSBC and ABN AMRO Bank, where he helped establish India's first banking Global Capability Centre in 1999.
More recently, as President & Chief Growth & Strategy Officer at a deep -tech, cyber risk management startup, he led strategic expansion and advanced data-driven cyber risk governance, adding entrepreneurial and technology-sector experience to his global institutional leadership background.
Santanu is an MBA from FMS Delhi, a KPMG Certified Board Director, Fellow of Board Stewardship, and a Certified ESG Professional. He has also completed the executive programme in AI Ethics, Regulation and Compliance at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He is a regular speaker at various prestigious forums and contributes to leading publications on leadership, governance, risk, ESG and Responsible AI.
